Founded by James Murrin in 1974, Aetna Fire Alarm Service Co. has been in the business of designing, installing, and servicing commercial fire protection systems in the greater Boston, Massachusetts area.
Area businesses have come to depend upon Aetna to provide high quality, reliable, and cost-efficient fire alarm and protection systems designed specifically to meet their needs and comply with all applicable Massachusetts electrical and fire regulations. Our fire alarm system technicians and electricians are available around the clock, 7 days a week to ensure that your business remains safe and fully protected.
Our professional staff is fully licensed through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Board of State Examiners of Electricians, and the City of Boston, Inspectional Services Department, Fire Prevention/Fire Protection Systems/Devices, and the International Municipal Signal Association. In addition, Aetna is a signatory member of Local 103 I.B.E.W. and National Electrical Contractors Association.
Aetna holds the Certificate of Eligibility through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive office for Administration and Finance, Division of Capital Asset Management in both Electrical and Alarm Systems. Our company and team are fully insured and bonded.
Now in our second generation
Today, Aetna Fire Alarm is being expertly guided by Jim Murrin’s daughter Kathleen who, with over 30 years in the fire alarm industry, is carrying on the tradition of hands-on involvement and complete commitment to customer satisfaction. Our mission and sense of purpose has not changed or wavered over the 45 years Aetna has been in business – we’re committed to keeping our customers and their organizations safe by focusing on delivering the best fire alarm systems and service possible every day.
